How's the xbox emulator compared to the real thing? Does it run perfectly? I've only got a ntsc-j mega cd but it'd be nice to be able to play a few PAL games, assuming the emulator is region free.

its pretty good, a couple of games skip intermitently, but most run 100%

You'll make plenty more mistakes trust me. I'd say the bigger mistake out of those buys is sega gt to be honest.

The Pal and USA versions are sh8t , but the Jp version is a decent racer imo ,
