You probably have it already but Einhander must get a mention in this thread. Loved it back when it came out and after playing it a couple of months ago I think it's aged well. Classic PS shooter.

Xevious 3D/G+, that's quite good as well. I know it's a wee bit basic but if you give it a chance, it has nice, smooth, compulsive retro gameplay, and is one of the better 3D updates out there. Plus, you get the original game and a few variants bundled in.

I play Einhander pretty often; though I'm not very good at it, mind. But it is a lovely game, really thoughtfully crafted.

I've heard a few recommendations for Xevious now - I'll check it out, ta.
