Never really considered using anything to keep track of my stuff before reading this thread, been on the look out for a Linux equivalent of something like Gamepedia and found an Open Source app called GCStar, theres Windows and Mac versions as well.
It's not bad at all, just been adding some Mega CD stuff with it and it's found most of my stuff and filled in all the details, you can also use it for Films, CD's, Comics etc. Very good to say it's free.
