Been meaning to do this for a while, on youtube theres a few videos floating around of people reviewing them but they always show the same 3 games & in blurry webcam vision, i thought it might be interesting for you all to see just what was available for this tiny little gadget. Although my videos aren't super crystal clear they are viewable.
I have taken videos of some of the lesser seen games in fact i don't think theres any videos on the net at all of these pokemon mini games. They aren't exhaustive vids as my camera lasts only 10 mins tops when filming using batteries but its enough to give you an idea.
First up shock tetris, this is one of the more known games, plays exactly like you would expect tetris to do but with an added fun feature you can shock flip the pieces by shaking the unit (or by tapping it like i do) if you see a pokemon shadow if you score a tetris it captures the pokemon & adds it to the pokedex, should last a while as theres over 200+ to get in it. Quite a few modes in there to mix things up too including pyramid mode where you have to get from 1 to 4 lines at the same time & in order.
Next is Pokemon race mini, sort of like a platform game/racing game you are put head to head with another pokemon. Each one has an advantage of either been on land or in the water, there are multiple ways through the levels as you play the later cups. Pretty fun game although the sound will drive you a bit nutty after a while lol
Pichu bros mini is a bit like party mini it's a set of minigames & just like party mini some are fun & some are crap, my fave is the one where you have to hold in the C button to try & make that leaf pokemon (forgot it's name) build power to take off you have to get it as close to the limit but without going over, as it's building the thing will shake like mad to let you know your getting close. If your sucessful the thing will take off like a missile & vanish into the sky earning you thousands of points, as you can see i did **** as i just went over.
Finally in this batch of videos i can finally show you Togepi's adventure. Out of all of the games this one is the biggest pokemon mini game theres a lot of levels in it, the idea is you land on the top of the tower & you have to go down the floors to get out. On each floor you have to roll to the exit but as you go deeper down there will be obsticles like switches & other things you need to operate to get the doors to open. Clear all the floors & you goto the next tower it lasts ages does this game, can be tricky on the tiny joypad but it's a really good game.
