    PC88 emulation on OS X

I'm a bit clueless when it comes to emulators. Can anyone help me?

I've downloaded MESS for OS X and I have the PC88 system roms, but I just can't get anything to work.

    Any help?

MESS is a right pain in the arse to get running. I use MESS for the ACan stuff.

Alternatively.. Are there any working PC88 emulators? I can't seem to find any.

Theres a Mac PC-88 emulator here, not sure how easy the menu's would be to navigate as it could all be in Japanese.

        Another one here, Quasi88

Failing that you could use something like WINE to run a Windows version of a PC-88 emulator, I use it under Linux to run stuff when theres no native version, I'm using it to run a windows X68000 emu and it runs perfect.

I tried PC88EM yesterday but it didn't work. Think it must not be compatible with Intel chips.

I do have a Windows partition but don't like to use it too much since HDD space is limited. Might have to, though, I guess.

I just googled "PC-88 emulation on Mac" and ended up here. Was very surprised to find myself asking the same questions 12 years ago. Still none the wiser!
