Are the PS2 and DC versions of Maken-X different enough to qualify as different games?

All 3d games of the PS / Saturn era will have had 2d interpretations for their handheld equivalents. Is this cheating? :-D

Tomb Raider on PS and GBC
Battle Arena Toshinden on PS and GB
            etc.

There are quite a few of these. I assume they don't count!

Just about any post-2000 game has a mobile phone equivalent too...

Not quite sure on the above, but would probably go down this avenue at a later date. Got lots of ideas so far for future youtube vids, so thanks for the suggestions

May even do this as a feature in the magazine...

Their intro sequences are almost identical too
I've nt played those two but are they related in anyway to the game of the same name on the DC?

                            Good one.

Oddly, I reckon the Gameboy one was similar to the MD one not the SNES one...

I can only think of small differences...

How about Donkey Konga 1/2 GC PAL/US/JAP. The Japanese ones were so very good whilst the english ones had, well, regular music

Jap SMB2 (Lost Levels) and our SMB2 - The japanese ones might be named differently mind...

I'd imagine you'd get loads like Space Invaders GB/any other version
                              and Tetris...

I'm not sure about that, it was an approximation of the full game, even if it was 2D.
