All 3d games of the PS / Saturn era will have had 2d interpretations for their handheld equivalents. Is this cheating? :-D

Their intro sequences are almost identical too

How about Donkey Konga 1/2 GC PAL/US/JAP. The Japanese ones were so very good whilst the english ones had, well, regular music

I'm not sure about that, it was an approximation of the full game, even if it was 2D.
