Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi, You're My Only Hope

I'm not quite that desperate yet but I'm getting there. Let me explain.

A couple of months ago i purchased a consolized MVS so that I could finally live the Neo Geo dream. The console arrived in perfect condition and everything worked fine until I decided that I was some kind of technical wizard and started fiddling with it. The console had been fitted with a video encoder so that it would output a composite signal. As my TV supports RGB I removed the encoder and tried to wire it up to give an RGB signal. The only problem was I'm totally incompetent when it comes to that sort of thing and I've completely buggered it all up. Now I've got a broken console and no way of fixing it.

I've tried contacting ChaoticJelly but to no avail (someone very kindly tried to contact him for me but still nothing). I've also made a similar post in the technical section but to no avail.

If anyone knows anyone who could help me sort this mess out I'd be really grateful as I'm close to giving up and chucking the whole thing in the bin.

Trying posting in the wanted section on the neo-geo.com forums. There's loads of guys over there who should be able to help you out and certainly a few who would take on repairing it.

yeah, definitely ask on the neo boards. So many tech savvy members there who will be able to post diagrams, although it shouldn't be too much of a job to do.

Was everything wired to the JAMMA connector?

Yeah, I think so. To start with I tried to make the connections to the 8 pin DIN socket from there. In the end I just wired a scart lead directly to the board.

Will do. The thing is, however much I've messed it all up, I still don't think it's that complicated. There's plenty of resources on the net about what to do it's more down to my total lack of skills with anything electrical. It's simple just not a simple as me, lol.
