Hi people...
Well, it finally arrived. After a bit of a cock-up with postage (entirely my fault!!), I took receipt of my boxed Starwing SNES on Wednesday.
Obviously the first thing I done was plug it all in and play it, but after that it needed it's deep clean...

...and after (inc. the blue LED mod), and cleaned the innards too (which were caked in dust and...er...pubes by the looks of it!?!):

The controller also got the same treatment:

...and after:

And baby wipes on the controller leads (this was just one wipe from end to end!
)

No pics of it all assembled, but you get the picture. I also replaced the rubbers inside the control pad with new ones, and the buttons are all solid again, which feels great!
Next step is Retrobrite. The console isn't too bad, so it might not require a huge clean. I've got my Xanthan Gum, just need the other bits now...
But it is great, so many memories came flooding back! Pointless post really, just thought i'd share it!
