One of the TV shops in a city near me inexplicably sold a lot of imported Mega Drive games. I don't know where the hell they got them circa 1990. Picked up Wonderboy 3: Monster Lair (much maligned but really quite entertaining forced scrolling platformer) and my Dad performed the relevant surgery on my Mega Drive with a hacksaw scratching the thing to pieces but rendering it fully playable.
There have been 5 different versions of Revenge of Shinobi with various different modifications of the Batman, Terminator, Spiderman and Godzilla bosses. I've completely lost track of which one I had because the differences are pretty subtle.
Just reading on the wiki Yuzo Koshiro wrote some new arrangements for this to be played by an orchestra. That's something I'd like an mp3 of.
