Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy removed from Yoshi island GBA?

Doesn't deserve it's own topic, but I wasn't sure where to ask this question.

We'll go to the grave believing that Yoshi's Island is close to, if not the best 2D platform game ever made. The original Super NES game introduced so many new gameplay elements that utilized the power of the FX chip to drive these ideas. The Game Boy Advance had enough power under the hood to bring back these elements without the need for additional processing hardware, and for those that missed out on the original console release nearly a decade prior, the Game Boy Advance does a brilliant job bringing the award winning gameplay and level designs to the handheld. It's a shame that Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy had to be destroyed in the move to portable. Otherwise, this is an incredible conversion that absolutely needs to be experienced on the GBA.
What does he mean destroyed? They removed the level? I haven't got the GBA close to hand, so have no idea what he's talking about. Did they remove the wobble effect? Because in the preceding sentence he says the game was ported just fine.

Im pretty sure that it's still in, the effect is slightly different but i definately remember my jpn gba version having that level. I'm off to check.

Just checked my jpn version, the level is still there & when you touch them the screen goes wobbly up and down & the music goes funny too. Probably ign just talking ****e unless nintendo took it out of the versions in other regions.

From what I can recall the effect was much better on the SNES version - onscreen elements (e.g. platforms/background) actually bend and stretch creating a cool disorienting effect while on the GBA I think the screen was just split into columns that moved up and down which looked a bit of a mess.

EDIT: See the videos below. \actually the main effect seems to be the similar but the GBA version doesn't do it half as well so the platform looks like it is breaking apart:

SNES (jump to about 1 minute)

        GBA (about 2:40)

Ahh cheers, thanks for that. I might consider picking up the GBA version in that case.

Seeing the vids it's nowhere near as bad as they make out.

Theres a few places where the effects are slightly different but it really isn't that bad. The gba version has extra new levels that were not in the snes original which makes it a worthy purchase. In fact all of the gba versions add new stuff in one way or another.
