Sounds like she might have been talking about Sean Kelly's two Videogames and Then stores... and yes, they are pretty US centric.

A shop full of **** games in even ****ter condition, total waste of a trip. Only things of any note were some sealed lynx games at $5 each, and they had a couple of those retron 5 consoles that worked out about ?85 new. Was going to just grab one in case someone wanted one, but wasn't sure anyone would. I asked if they maybe had a nice boxed SNES tucked away in the back, as I knew someone here would want that, but was told it was very rare for them to get nice boxed retro systems in stock. Utter pish!

More PC Engine love this week.
Super CD-ROM - Slime World
Super CD-ROM - Ray Xanber III (Quite possibly the finest shooter on the system and that's saying something!)
Arcade CD-ROM - World Heroes 2
Super CD-ROM - Cho Ainiki
Super CD-ROM - Macross 2036
Super CD-ROM - Psychic Storm
CD-ROM - Wonder Boy III Monster Lair
CD-ROM - L.Dis
Hu-card - The Ninja Warriors
Hu-card - Cadash
Hu-card - Final Soldier
That's it for PC Engine buys for a while I think. I must have spent a small fortune on PC Engine stuff in the last month. Ray Xanber III didn't help either. Man, that is not cheap.Last edited by Yakumo; 06-07-2014, 02:02.

@Quality Chimp. Indeed, there will be a Ninja Warriors BOTP in the future. Maybe in 3 shows time. I've never actually seen the arcade machine
Baseley09, be careful when buying the Macross game because there's two of them. One is a strategy game which you don't want. The one I bought is good but the SFC Macros game by Winkey Soft is still the ultimate Macross shooter IMO.

PC Engine is a very dangerous console to own. After checking out World Heroes 2 I instantly went on to Yahoo Auctions and bought myself Art of Fighting (660 yen with shipping) too. I wonder if it has the zooming screen? I love that game despite it being a bit cack as far as 1 on 1 fighters go.

It doesn't exactly zoom, it just jumps in and out of near and far views. A bit jerky really, but when you consider the system it's on I still think it's impressive, the SNK games on the PC-Engine were great in my opinion. Nice to see people picking up stuff for the system, I still keep an eye on what's for sale out there and it seems to me that prices are going insane, it would cost an absolutely ridiculous amount to rebuild the collection I had at my peak.
