A few recent additions from here (thanks, kingmonkey!) and eBay. Not too many more jp N64 games I want now, moving onto US games next..

The Avenue Pad 6 perhaps? Padhacked one for Colin and fell in love with it. Definitely need to get one myself.

Yes. They look awful but I found it pretty decent, use them for all my PCE games

Thanks buddy I'll have a look at VGI when I get a sec...nothing on Genki at the moment but I will probably just wait for big C to sort his stuff out first lol

I think that's for the best, I checked and the VGI ones are 42 quid. Also I saw a tweet from you a while back that Chase HQ was on your PCE Wants list, I'd say it's more 'Everdrive material'..I was very disappointed with it

Yup, it was an Avenue 6 that went on to become this, though it now has a red ball top which makes it look much better -

I got one loose used one in the big bundle and three boxed new old stock ones. Don't like it much as a pad myself, I prefer the fighting commander PC.

Love that we kept full functionality in the stick.

World Driver is really very good.

PC Engine SF2 is brilliant. Something about it feels so good to play. I like it second only to the SNES version.

From a technical viewpoint, the PCE port of Dash is easily the best home conversion. It also plays extremely well too, even with a standard 2 button pad. My favourite version by far. The SFC port on Hyper Fighting seemed too polished, where as the PCE release seemed to have that CPS 'grittiness' intact, if that makes any sense to you folks?

Yes! But playing on a standard 2 button pad is a real challenge since there's no remapping and have to press a button to switch between punch and kicks

PCE version seems unconsolised unlike the SFC versions.

                        If you get my drift.

                        Probably not.

Picked up a 13inch LCD TV last weekend for playing retro, not as nice as a CRT but not going to be able to carry anything bigger than this lol.
Quite pleased with it anyways as it's a huge improvement over playing games on the HDTV that is part of this apartment's furnishing.

Just picked up a Swan Crystal today as well, was only 950Yen and don't think I've ever seen it any cheaper.
Only problem is that there's a small mark or bit of dust under the screen, not a huge problem but I know that it's there so it's irritating.

Tried to do a comparison photo of the Color and Crystal but it might be a bit hard to see, the image is definitely a lot sharper and the colors are a bit richer. Just a shame it doesn't have a backlight.

Is that a 640x480 LCD display?

They're actually quite good for displaying SD content.

Yeah, I think so. The model number is Sharp LC-13S1.
Seems decent so far, hope to have some time to hook up a few more consoles and the PSP this weekend to test out.
