White boxed Yukawa Dreamcast?

Now we know Sega went a bit mental releasing various versions and limited edition Dreamcasts over its short life but has anyone come across this one before?



I have only ever seen orange Yukawa boxes so I am interested in seeing if anyone knows much about this? The seller says the unit is completely new and has never been used and it looks like it will go for a fairly high amount.

It is a recon' system. If you can see a picture of the front it should have the words "reconditioned" in English on it. As you know, Sega were selling these units after they stopped production.

Yeah, but the recondition units dont usually have the Yukawa packaging? I have beeb told it is a Toyota version?

Sounds highly unlikely and Yakumo is a bit of an expert on the matter. There was another early packaging with the faux Sega president too wasn't there?

Yeah, with the one with all the scenes on the commercials (and he's not the president, that was Irimajiri he was actually the managing director). The thing is I have a few boxed reconditioned units and have never seen one like this. It's also a HKT-3000, a model which you do not normally see in recons. Might be worth a pop I guess.

The white Yukawa boxed consoles are indeed Toyota doricatch systems. Some you see with lid stickers (display model?) and some you don't.
