Neo Geo Display problem?

Hi guys,

Hope someone can be of help.

Recently purchased JAP Neo Geo console is displaying vertical lines. Menus etc appear fine but any animation shows lines up and down the screen. Tried with both RGB and composite cable and with both LCD and CRT, same result.

Any idea why this is happening and if an RGB mod would fix this?

Could be that the cart needs a damn good clean?

That was my first thought! Tried various carts though and same issue. Connectors on the neo also clean

Are you sure you're supplying the machine with the right voltage? Can be 5v or 9v IIRC. Look at the bottom of the machine.

Probably your AES slot needs cleaning as well.
