They removed it in the Japanese version, as I got the impression it was one of the reason the DD3 bombed in arcades, it wasn't around much at all and disappear very quickly. That and the fact it played so badly, animation was just jerky.Last edited by S3M; 29-10-2020, 23:05.

Lot's of recent videos over at Randomised Gaming, we also do regards streams now, which are getting quite popular, we have quite a few regular viewers. Most recent is Sega Rally 2006 on PS2, which really is the rally game time forgot and tonight will be Shinobi on the PlayStation 2, they start at 21:30pm GMT and go on for an hour or two, every weekday.
Also got quite a few new longplay videos up, one of the most interesting is this one for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max on PSP.
Which when using the Open Source Scan Converter PSP mode you can now play at full screen looks lovely. As Elgato software doesn't support the PSP mode, sadly most capture card don't support it, but with Open Broadcast Studio you can do something similar by stretching the screen to full screen and using that to capture the footage. OSSC looks superb in x2 mode, but we can't capture it at that mode.
Should note that by default the PSP 3000 output to the TV actually outputs (A) in a tiny window for PSP games, not PS1 and (B) at the wrong aspect ratio, which few people have every mentioned. It's not true 16:9, so you have to correct the default output on the PSP. If you got PSP 2000, 3000 or GO, I hihgly recommend getting component cables to hook it up, but the default output on a TV get you this, here's the old version of our SFA3 video and yes it is that small by default, for PSP titles, not PS1 mind and running at the wrong aspect you can only really tell it's incorrect on some circles.
Not the idea way to play and the top video looks way better. You know you've been on YouTube a bit when you start updating you're older videos.Last edited by S3M; 08-12-2020, 16:45.

Been really busy past few months on Randomised Gmaing covering the PS3 shutdown the U turn and more, there are some really great digital only games on the PS3 store.
Such as the old school Mad Dog Mcree arcade game and it's sequels, which I don't think that many people realised got released on PSN, it is PlayStation Move only however, here's a longplay of the PS3 version, plays very well with PS Move.
You can see a live stream look at all the Digital Leisure games for PSN here
We also now have a weekly livestream if people want to drop by every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 21:30 GMT at present, this week we've been looking at some of the excellent Digital PSP games, that supposedly are still being delisted come July. Last night was Brandish: The Dark Revenant, which is a remake of the original Bandish Falcom RPG. It's an old school dungeon crawler, but if you like the genre worth a look not for everyone that's for sure.

So we are now on Twitch if anyone wants to follow: https://www.twitch.tv/randomised_gaming (We are doing Alone in the Dark: The new nightmare tonight at 21:30 BST)
The classic shmup Greylancer on the Mega Drive got a re-release on modern consoles the other week, here's a review of this new version. Which has a original Japanese Mega Drive mode and a new control scheme mode that allows you to manually control the drones to shoot.
Plus lots of great new playthrough videos, like this one with the Japanese version only hidden character Mankichi Kazami from DecAthlete / Athlete Kings. Who was a manga tie in character hence why he never appeared in the western version sadly.
