UK Snes and Superfamicom

are the internal workings of a super famicom interchangable with a UK snes?

basically if i get a really badly yellowed SFC can i just swap the case with a UK snes or vice versa?

The SFC has a DPDT miniature slide switch on the back of the mobo, that the SNES doesn't.

would it be possible just to swap just the tops? as generally its the top/front panel that get yellowed.

Yes, should be fine. The tops are the same mold. You probably could change the bottom too if you clip the tinny switch on the SFC.
