Which of the "Simple Series - The something or other" games are any good?

Any console is fine. Have you actually found any of these games to be any good?

I know importaku has some on DS - The firemen and The bomb squad amongst others.

Tell me which ones have been good purchases for you, and which haven't. My recent purchase of The Pirate, on PS2, has so far been a rather rubbish Dynasty Warriors style game, with a tiny battle field.

Matching Maker began as a Simple Series title but recently has been released without the tag attached. You'll need your reading skills for that as you need to keep your townspeople happy by getting others to move in and bring specific types of business with them.

Simple Series DS - The Genshijin was simple but fun. I think there might have been a PS2 version as well. It's a caveman civilisation survival sim basically.
