Was that Sega Zone in Woolwich? I went there a few times, they always seemed to have good machines. I remember playing Dead or Alive there and seeing Street Fighter III for the first time. Such a shame all these places have closed now.

Yeah that was it. Half way up (if you're coming from the Calderwood Street end) near the Our Price (also long, long gone!).

Street Fighter 2 - local video rental place in Battersea, arcades in central London, Laser Quest Peckham, arcade in Southend, basically anywhere I saw it
Pac-Man - Devas youth club in Battersea
Yie Ar Kung-Fu - I think I first played this on a school trip to Belgium, then I played it loads in a video rental place in Tooting
Karate Champ - The same place in Tooting
Track & Field - Can't remember where I first played this, but I've been competing with my brother at this game since first playing it. He usually beats me. Last time we played was at the Arcade Barn in Devon a few years ago, which has now shut down, sadly.
Bomb Jack - Various locations, from holidays to chip shops. I last played it at the Heart of Gaming. One of my most loved games of all time.

I'm going to mention (again) that I've never seen anyone beat my RR arcade times, based on a sample of a few arcades in London and Amsterdam. Wish I'd taken photos

                          1. Streetfighter 2
                          2. PowerDrift
                          3. Outrun
                          4. Cabal
                          5. Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars

Special mention to Chase HQ - I can still 1 credit that to this day, but after Streetfighter 2 I think PowerDrift was my favourite arcade game - in my late teens I purchased a 2nd hand cabinet from an arcade long since demised in Farnborough.
