With Art of Fighting they started their road to combat Capcom's fighters before leading into Fatal Fury

Fatal Fury came out a year before Art of Fighting.

SNK>Capcom for me though. Whilst Hyper Fighting is without doubt my favourite fighting game; other than SSF2X and Zero 2 Alpha, I’d take an SNK title everyday. Capcom’s games largely all play the same just with different chara skins. SNK offered greater variety in their titles. Whilst a lot of the early stuff has aged terribly as well as suffering from the SNK terrible controls syndrome, from FFS onwards a lot of it is still enjoyable to play now.

The new Samurai Spirits title looks amazing from what I’ve seen of it too. I’ll definitely pick that up.

Capcom were better back then and they are still better now, despite their best efforts to show otherwise.

Capcom by far SNK just largely ripped off Capcom's game. They did make some classic, but I always liked Capcom's gaming systems more far better balanced.

I must admit I like the Street Fighter world and its characters more than the actual games themselves...

Nothing comes close to the Last Blades and Mark of the Wolves as far as games go though.

I just wish Capcom would revive the Power Stone series.
