      It was about a pal SNES that had a blocked over multi av port that had a tab over it so the only video output possible was rf.

          If you apply a decent amount of cream the doctor gave you on the area affected, then yes, the rash will eventually clear.

                Turns out the guy had a cover for the back, which I'd not seen before. I thought he had some sort of rare version of the PAL SNES which had the multi-out removed and blocked off. I've seen this with other systems - they remove the components but the outer shell remains the same, apart from a flimsy tab put over removed sockets. Turns out the tab was something the guy used to keep it clean?

                Whatevs. It turned out to be a non-event.

                Won the auction in the end. I wanted to make sure I was getting a proper multi-out SNES. Will be 60Hz modding it once it arrives. Two chip, but I prefer those since the mod is easier, even if 1chip has the better picture,
