Starting playing RR6 on the seriesX, i'm only 6 races in to its career mode but does the game only seem to take place in overcast weather? it's seem so dark and dull looking with auto HDR on, and not much brighter with it off, maybe be rose tinted glasses but i remember original and rev being blue, blue skies. My Memories of Rage and Type4 are pretty vague but i only remember racing at night alot.

Nope, dipped out of the RR series after 4, mainly due to going to Dreamcast>XboxOG>360 route at the time. I did buy RR5 when got the chance buy a cheap region modded PS2 (for Fire Pro Returns) and only put 10 minutes into it... can't remember why i bounced of it, think i put more time in N64 cart.

Looking on youtube RR3D does look bright like how i remember OG and Revo.
