Man, that Halo 5 console is nice. I hadn't seen that before.

Not a fan at all of just slapping a png on that big open space on top of the console. The COD and Halo 5 consoles are nice and industrial design looking.

I'm quite partial to the Dishonored 2 one, manages to look slick and swapping the image on top out for a stencil design might have nailed it

A friend had the Halo 5 console and it does look good but I really like the white version so it gets my vote.

Of the customs, the Tomb Raider one is probably the most interesting. I think for me when it comes to customs it's about how far they can take an idea, since it's not a mass produced piece.

For the retail LEs, I don't find any of them that pleasing but they are quite well thought out. I like the 'Start' and 'Stop' icons around the power button on the Forza one, for example, along with the go-faster stripes, although I wouldn't want it on display in my house personally.

The console design more broadly is a dull rectangle that feels like a product of 360-induced anxiety about overheating, crossed with a desire to make something conservative and cable-box-like in order to fit the ambitions for it to be a multifunction home entertainment device rather than an out-and-out and games console.

The problem is that the core design of the console look bobbins so no amount of paint jobs is gonna make it look good. I thought the One X was pretty slick mind.
