Game of the Year 1992: Round One

Now that we're finally done appraising Xbox One designs I figured it was time to take a break and return to our other mission statement: Determining the Bordersdown Greatest Game of All Time

We move into 1992 with this latest drive and as with the prior year we're focusing on a somewhat culled list cutting out those that are less notable and easily missed titles due to the sheer volume now being released whilst still remaining pretty robust in terms of selection.

You can vote for as many games as you like

Which of the above games of 1992 do you consider to be amongst the best?

We live in a world where I've voted for just one game... and it's a baseball game. Seriously, got so much play from Baseball Stars 2

Alien3 on the Mega Drive was a great game.
Obviously, it didn't really follow the plot, but the Pulse Rifle was great to use in this.

Batman: Return of the Joker on the Game Boy (I'm assuming it's that in the list) was a lovely little platformer that really looked great and played really smoothly. The batarangs were a brilliant weapon, although I think I prefer the original game.

Wow, so much **** on that list

Picked a few myself with all but 1 being SFC games. The one that wasn't was Alisia Dragoon.

Some crackers in that list. Asterix on the Master System is great, Aero Fighters is a solid Psikyo shooter but top of my list is Alisia Dragoon. One of my favourite MD games and there’s not really anything else quite like it on the system. It’s a strange halfway house between a run ‘n’ gun and a platformer which sounds odd but works really well.

Alien 3 is the standout on that list for me. I like that game far more than I should for how bloody hard it is.

I loved Alien 3 on the GB but ultimately Alone In the Dark is where it's at
