Played absolutely loads of Burnout 3 online and had a great time doing it, and played practically nothing else on that list, so an easy choice this round. Capcom Fighting Evolution/Jam was a vaguely interesting diversion, but far from GOTY. -
Burnout 3, absolutely, with ease. Really the zenith of the series until Paradise was patched.Comment

I feel like every time bemani games come up in these I'm pointing out that the years are all wrong, but this one's very out - I can't even think what potential DDR Extreme game came out in '04? Anyway.
Voted for a few that are more 'games I enjoyed' than anything that'll be seeing it through to the last stages - Daigasso was a pretty low-polish rhythm game but that had loads of neat ideas and allowed you to be creative with it, Cave Story is something I should really play properly some day but is very clearly very good from the off, and Capcom Fighting Evolution, while pretty busted, is something I had enough fun with in the day.Comment
