I haven't played Rebelstar: Tactical Command, I'm going to have to look that one up to see if it's any good - quick search shows it's a Julian Gollop title, with some relation to Rebelstar on the Spectrum from 1986.

      Ohhh, Project Gotham Racing 3 <sucks teeth>

Disliked that game. Another one of the Xbox 360 launch titles that was much-lauded, but mediocre on reflection. It looked good, certainly, but in almost every way I felt the prior game was superior.

IIRC, you started the game with amazing cars (rather than having to earn them) because Bizarre had used PGR2 to gather data on what players did in the prior game, and apparently too many people never unlocked any cars, so they changed the game's approach to cater to the largest audience. There's nothing wrong with accessibility, and I'd never suggest Bizarre shouldn't have done this - but gradually unlocking the cars was my favourite thing about MSR/PGR1/2 and they removed most of that, making it just another racing game to me.

Resi 4, though I wasn't instantly enamoured, it won me over once the village area was done
