There are a handful of games that I have fond memories of, here are a few.

                      1. F-Zero: I was totally captivated from the first moment it hypnotised me with its abstract techno power. Hundreds of hours must have been spent enjoying the refined tuned to perfection gameplay. Everything about the experience was constructed to ease the player in and never let them leave.

                      2. Ridge Racer: Once again I was blown-away by sheer graphical perfection. The detailed exuberant game-world glowed with excess colour and joy. Once in the game the true significance of the game became apparent, the control was honed to perfection, powersliding became a new sport and the verbal encouragement mixed with the pounding techno beats, made the games like a drug.

                      3. PilotWings: I came to this game a few years late, but it soon became one of my most favourite most unique games. From the relaxing jazzy music, to the nice and subtle graphics, this game oozed a distinct charm that made it a regular play, be it with friends or just to as a means to chill-out.

                      4. Super Mario Kart: An obvious choice? Well to me it is was a unique experience and in many ways still is. I had never played a Karting game before and this one gripped me and never let go. I spent so much time on this game that when I look back it seems like its all I ever did.

                      5. Bomberman: I know the Snes version wasn?t the first on the scene, but it was the first time I got to play as a Bomberman. Theres no doubt that as soon as I picked-up the pad and started playing multi-player this game would fill my life with hours of frantic bomb dodging. If anyone accused this game of being simple, then they had obviously not played it. The game requires quick thinking and also a strategy that is honed over many hours of play. Simple in style but big on charm, this game will never die.

                      6. Bomb Jack: A game I got to experience through Mame in 98 though released in 1985. The most tight perfect design ever? Its certainly a game that grips me and sucks me into its little world of gameplay bliss. Everthing from BombJack himself and the evil enemies that fly around the levels are unique. The gameplay is a work of genius and not forgetting the sound, oh yes, the fizzing power-up, sheer perfection.

F-Zero: For me the most unique and exciting game ever.[/b]
