New logo - anyone got an ideas?

The one in post 44 is pretty awesome. The middle area could house the title screen for whichever the current banner game was perhaps. Banners could also be surrounded by a widened version of it.

I'm going to say this now. It's worth not having '.net' in the logo as it's possible we'll use a different namespace at some point.

Not that I am in any way adept at designing it, but I think a highly modified Way of the Exploding Fist title screen/main art work could be good.

Perhaps if the site was called BorderSmash....which I actually think is a better name :P

That looks slightly uneven, try moving the top line down so it's the same distance away as the bottom is from the arrows.

I played with this font more, out of boredom. Mostly rubbish but someone might be inspired by something!



Those bottom two would probably be better rotated so the BORDERS was down the left side, although then the down wouldn't be going down. They look a bit naff in a T shape.

Seriously though,

I only had time to do a couple of ideas last night.

The first one I wanted to incorporate a down arrow into the design, but not make it the focal point so I've hidden it in the line underneath it. I'd also like to do a symbol too, but I'll get back to that. Maybe a circle or altered infinity symbol. The font on these are flexible, but the "n" of down needs to be the type that can hide the arrow, a capital "N" wouldn't work.



The second idea that I had was playing on borders, Checkpoint Charlie and The Great Escape. Thought about making a fence out of the "down" with a little retro motorcyclist jumping the border...
