It was nice to have TG back last night. They're stretching fairly minimal content over the hour duration though. The Lambo review was barely 10 minutes long and the rest was dad cars. It's was a nice enough piece but it did drag a bit ... only saved by the rallying part which was great (Harris in a mk2 Escort getting that close to the Stig in a 6R4 was a performance and a half).
I'm looking forward to this. Miss a bit of stupid larking about.
Got go say that Clarkson's Farm is really good. Yeah, he's an idiot again at times but we see more to him. The show was a fantastic watch. Just wish there was more.
Same here
I still miss the old guard
I just can't get on with Paddy & Freddie
I've tried watching the series since they took over & just feel cold to them
Show is still good but I just don't get the same enjoyment with the current team
Chris is still great but I do miss Matt Le Blanc I thought he really grew into & was a great fit
Wish Amazon would give another series of Grand Tour the green light
I still watch Top Gear (Chris Harris is the best decision they’ve made since it all changed) but it’s never going to be as good as it was. Clarkson & Co grew with the silliness creeping in and made it their own flavour … so all the jolly japes of McGuinness and Flintoff can’t help but feel a little bit tribute act. But they’re doing the biz for the ratings apparently so fair play. And at least the old guard went out on top.
The Grand Tour got off to a wobbly start but by series 3 it was in great shape, losing all the flab and rubbish ideas and becoming a decent show. It was a shame it ended in that format but the specials are better than nothing.
