WELCOME TO:
HOLLYWOOD HOT WHEELS: ROUND 42
Another round sifting through the industries most recognisable vehicles covering all manners of iconic designs from film, tv and gaming, their history and what you think of them.
Each round will see three vehicles lined up for the showcase. Unlike the voting conducted in the other threads, here things are more cutthroat.
You each can only vote for a single design in each round, casting the other two to the scrapheap of Hollywood history.
Make your choice then tell us why you like or don't like each vehicle and why you voted for the one you did.
VEHICLE 124 - Landmaster

The Damnation Alley vehicle was barely a vehicle at all, in film miniatures were often used to represent it with one fully functional version being made and not used much. Following filming it was left to rust on a lot in front of a shop near Hollywood. The shop owner had worked on a few films and had some other vehicles sitting around, following his death in 2013 the vehicles were mostly sold to private collectors. The Landmaster is now parked in another industry guru's lot with plans for it to be restored.
The Master Choice?
VEHICLE 125 - 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

John Wick's car is part of the reason the who franchises events kick off interestingly for fans it's a bittersweet introduction as five were brought in for filming with all five destroyed during the course of production. The car appears again in the second film but this again is a set of different models with most of those destroyed too.
The Wick That Burns Brightest?
VEHICLE 126 - Peterbilt 281 Truck

Duel's stalking threat, the 1955 truck was key to making Spielberg's TV movie work. The tale of a man stalked by a truck on the highway, the original truck was literally driven off a cliff to film the ending of the film but when the studio wanted to release the film in cinemas tow replicas were commissioned to create extra scenes to extend the films run time. One survives today owned by a collector who takes it to shows so film fans can enjoy it.
