Not a strong start to the year for the Chimpmeister.

I'm hoping a few more people pop out to see Snow White, rather than get aboard the right-wing hysteria that Rachel Zegler cannot possibly play Snow White because she has a Columbian grandmother.

Plus, being a Disney film, if people wait a couple of weeks, it'll be streaming.

That might be the main thing in its favour, now that Disney has ruled out Disney+ launches for longer windows for its theatrical releases Snow White could run on cinema alone till around June but I'm not sure the sustained demand is there. Mufasa is seen as a success but it was a long road and even then it's near half what the previous film made. They haven't had a major live actiomn remake hit in 6 years... maybe they should take the hint

I think a lot of reviews seems to point to that it’s just a bad film. A lot of disney fans that don’t fit the right wing, go woke go broke narrative are trashing it as well.

It’s a loss for everyone, as the online trolls will claim this as a win if this continues to struggle.

Easter holidays coming up, so I reckon Minecraft will get another boost.
Possibly more if people want to get in on the insanity or less if people don't want to face the absolute scenes going on in American showings.
