I thought you had multiple versions of Canton Viper? QC if you want an inventive, zany film look out for A Heroic Fight. It's hilarious at times. I only got it originally because Dick Wei is in it but it was extremely enjoyable. Can't stress that enough. I saw it a couple of months ago. It features a stunt team within the film, explosives, some bmx action and some HK film parodies. Some odd as hell humour, too. I think the villain from Shaolin Vs Lama is in the background during the start, I always forget his name... Not sure if it was him but I think it was.

I want to watch a classic but I've seen the ones I really like so many times that it's hard to decide what to watch.

      Sold! I'll track that down.

The golden period is over, mind you.

Prinny, they're all done so I'm starting on that New Sabre tv show thing.

      That's massive!

I looked at Death of the Docks and that looks good. May check that out!

I've not seen the Aces Go Places series, but I love the Lucky Stars films.

The last fight in the first one (Winners and Sinners) is like a text book on how to shoot a fight.

There'll be no piss-sports in the Inn, lad! Only good honest rice, tea, wine and cool-as-ice swordsmen.

Finally got around to watching The Raid. Best martial arts movie I've seen for a long time. Some absolutely brutal choreography, well shot. Finally someone who can show a nice wide angle, no ****ing shakey cam to be seen. I reckon this has the best knife fighting I've seen in a film. I've never really looked into silat, but very similar moves to arnis/eskrima. Really enjoyed this film. Cannot wait for the sequel.

Man of tai chi - it wasn't quite the utter bollocks the trailer led me to believe...

Good work, boys. How are you both keeping?

In the meantime, this film NEEDS to be made:

If you are into mullets, DeLoreans, headbands, powergloves, skateboards, synthesizer music, viking babes with machine guns and towering giants, shoulderpads, visually cheesy and epic, over-the-top violence, then you are in for the wildest dinosaur ride of your life! As of today, there are only 29 days left for actor, writer and director David Sandberg's kickstarter for his brand new 30-minute comedic action thriller, Kung Fury, starring Sandberg as a rogue cop who goes on a desperate mission to put an end to Adolf Hitler's reign of kung fu terror, only to be thrown too far back in time and no choice but to find a way to complete his mission.

On a roll now. Saw Drunken Tai Chi last night. Hilarious, I love these old kung fu comedies - this was really out there crazy. Donnie, looking about 15 years old, actually gives a pretty good performance, not super action choreography from Yuen Woo Ping, but not bad all the same. The editing and pacing was all over the shop, but I enjoyed it all the same. Funny to think that Donnie is still going strong almost 30 years later!!

Not Martial ARts but something I'd rather see get made ahead of that Kung Fury:
