Unbelievable contribution from this fella to HK/ MA cinema. Another heavyweight of the classic era gone :-(

Sad to see him taken so young - at 107!

Blimey, he had a good run (run).

The contribution he made to Asian cinema can't be emphasised enough.

The list of films he's produced is formidable. Some of the best Shaw Brothers Studio has to offer. Heroes of the East and 36th Chamber of Shaolin alone are stonewall classics.

Watched Fist of White Lotus on Saturday in honour of Run Run.

Man - Gordon Liu, Lo Lieh, Kara Hui, Hsiao Ho - all on major form. Lo Lieh directing. Lau Kar Leung handling action choreography. What a classic!

Classic. Old Skool Chan and Hwang Jang Lee - an awesome combo.

Damn I should've recorded it. Film 4 HD would have looked better than the DVD.

Wu Xia - is on Netflix if anyone's interested. Hadn't seen this one before. Quite a slow burner ; the detective stuff was pretty cool as was the internal damage SFX this added something different.

The action was nicely choreographed by Donnie but I was pretty shocked when he

                        chopped off his arm!!!

The last fight scene was pretty cool.

There's a lot of stern looks in the first half, but the second half is proper mental!
