Just about to watch Narnia on the recommendation of pretty much everybody on this forum so it had better be good!

I watched Cloverfield a few days back and it was bloody awful. The characters were as bad as the film in general and by the end I was pointing at them and telling it to stamp on them.

Just starting my Tartan collection now with two titles on order. I have quite a few of their titles on DVD and I'm looking forward to getting more on BD.

Micahel Bay, Ewan McGregor sporting another ridiculous accent (aah, Obi Wan), Scarlett Johansson, explosions, fast camera cuts, crazy plot. What's not to like?

Seriously, sometimes I really just feel like watching a "popcorn movie" and this is, I feel, a great example of those. Let's face it, Bay ain't never going to win awards for sensitive storytelling...unless Arcee is in Transformers 2 and he somehow manages to inject some emotion into the movie with something smaller than a sledgehammer
