My brain has an obsession with choosing films beginning with "The"

I bought them in Amazon sales. I don't like to spend more than £10 for a film.

I was going to buy Robocop on blue-ray, but I read that it's not better than the best dvd version.

I'm hoping that Dune( original film ) ... appears on blue-ray. It's on HD DVD.

A lot of the films that I know will look great in HD, aren't available yet, so my collection is small. I look forward to the LOTR Trilogy, and Star Wars etc...

The only film that doesn't quite look crystal clear or what is expected of a decent Blu-ray transfer is Big Fish but it is one of my favourite films so I got it for the sake of it to be honest.

Despite being 20 years old, I prefer children's films although Blood Diamond is the exception.

I stuck it on pre-order at Amazon.com - it's the only place (out of the e-tailers I use, anyway) I've seen it listed. At least if the price drops between now and release, it will apply to my order.

I plan to keep an eye on a few sites, and go for the best offer nearer release date. My worry with Amazon is that it's over the customs limit - but I've always used expedited shipping whenever I've ordered something over the customs limit with Amazon, and it's got through unscathed. Pure luck, I know, but it's worked several times so far....
