Yes I suppose so but what can the possible justification be for removing the reference to gassing them out? For such a progressive and 'cutting edge' channel, C4 seems to be extremely nervous about upsetting people these days.

And I'd noticed the laughter track thing in Friends too. By which I meant the little lady noticed it; I was too busy watching Top Gear or Match of the Day or something.

If you've ever seen the Friends episode where Rachel gets the wrong cake for her daughters first birthday, you will see what censorship can do. It's rendered non-sensical.

I'm noticing cuts more and more in films which had not been cut previously. Was watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure...they cut Napolean screaming Merde Merde when bowling!!! Wtf. Turned off in disgust.

The episode just on "homer vs. the eighteenth amendment" was just on and had all the footage that sky normally cut out and one scene that I have never seen not even on the copy that US tv normally shows

Funny they decided not to censor the Treehouse of Horror ep this week when Kang says "flunking schnit" but have censored far more innocuous phrases. Bizarre.

The line about fox becoming a porn channel in the Lisa's wedding ep is mostly cut on sky, but ok on channel 4
