What legacy? I've always thought Dragonball has been gash so this looks in keeping with it!
If anything this might be better than the manga / anime as it contains no Akira Toriyama artwork.

haha nope i loved it. knew it wasn't going to be serious dragon ball so I didn't end up disappointed. the strawberry scene also has to be one of the greatest in any movie ever.
