For Eurovision's 60th this year they've had a Wild Card draw for nations that are widely outside Europe to join and Australia has accepted the offer to take part in this years show.

After The Voice this Saturday BBC1 will air the reveal of this years UK entry. Like last year expect Radio 2 to play it non-stop until it fails in the competition

Finally! I wondered when the BBC would realise it wasn't worth making any effort of any sort at all for Eurovision and would just start sending in minimal effort ear offending wastes of air space, they've finally cottoned on it seems
