Anyone mentioned William Friedkin's To Live and Die in L.A? It's ****ing hilarious! CSI's William Petersen plays a reckless Secret Service agent called Chance (geddit?) and Willem Dafoe plays the villain of the piece, Rick Masters, a master counterfeiter. Both great names, but honestly, William Petersen must be the worst Secret Service agent ever.

Out to avenge his partner's death - who was just a couple of days away from retirement, he gets kicked in the balls, falls asleep during a stakeout, destroys half the city by driving down the wrong lane in a car chase, and ends up taking a shotgun blast to the face in a shoot-out in a locker room.

It also contains more homoerotic subtext than Commando, which is saying something. Yet it's still chuffin' brilliant.
