Blu-Ray Best Of The Best - for discussing releases only

It's not a new announcement as such and I very rarely watch TV so I've never seen it but I've got a few mates that I know are going to love having a date for this:
'Prison Break' Blu-ray Gets Specs & a November Date

Anybody here a fan? Is it worth me considering when it's available?

Yes, it's worth buying!! Prison Break (especially s2) is the BEST show on television! Tha'ts all I need to say...it's an amazing, wonderful, series. S1 is fantastic but the second is even better

The first season is great and would be a great purchase if you havent seen it before. However i strongly disagree with Lench about S2, it started promisingly but my god it just ended up being the silliest load of rubbish on TV.

It's good, not the best but very good. I do prefer Lost and Entourage, honestly!

For picture quality, I'd agree with the first two Pirates films or Crank (For which I seem to be in a minority in terms of liking it. ). Corpse Bride is awesome too, it looks so clean and crisp.

Finally got around to watching "Paprika" today. Absolutely brilliant!! Exactly the kind of quality I expect from my hi-def viewing experiences even if the story was mad as a box of frogs

The picture quality was astonishing with amazing bright colours and fantastic detail all the way through.

Hoping Tekkon Kinkreet is this good (and that they release other Satoshi Kon stuff on teh Blu-ray).

I got my copy from Amazon.fr for about ?20 incl. shipping which I think is good vfm seeing as I watched the film and the features; something I don't usually do.

Yeah, I found the features really interesting, although it would have been better if they were also 720 or 1080p rather than 480p, as they did look a world apart from the film itself quality wise.

I finally got around to watching TMNT last night and WOW does it look lovely. Heard people saying the fight scene in the rain looked good but I had no idea it would look amazing! The movie itself wasn't that bad either, I'm glad I purchased it now

Hmmm, couldn't get the HD cut in time? I thought they would edit in HD then downconvert for the SD DVD, so they could effortlessly make both PAL and NTSC resolution versions.

I hope people wait and I also hope that DH3 is finally uncut as a 15 on BRD otherwise I will not be buying it due to Fox and their stupid region locks

anyone here seen Stranger Then Fiction on BRD yet... i watch it on dvd and love it but just wondering hows the picture quality look on BRD???
