Meh. Yet another adaptation only focusing on Lilliput and it'll no doubt replace the political satire with fart jokes.

The Ted Danson mini series remains the best adaptation

Jack Black is the new John Candy, unfunny fat bloke who's crap in everything he's in and even if the film would have been total rubbish in the first place his very presence manages to drag it even further into the mire.
