Please God tell me TWD isn't going to outright rip off The Last of Us...
A grizzled guy with a heart of gold and a troubled past tasked with traveling across "America"
protecting a kid with immunity to zombies, in the hope of finding a cure.
where as this new series from the walking dead is about
A grizzled guy with a heart of gold and a troubled past tasked with traveling across "France"
protecting a kid with immunity to zombies, in the hope of finding a cure.
oh yeah errrr............... they have made a walking dead spin of game of this new series for the switch to promote it which looks pretty interesting

It's crazy how many spinoffs there are!
I loved the comics and the earlier series, but I'd like to get back in, but there are so many options.
Negan fighting zeds in NYC sounds appealing, but I've literally heard nothing about it, which isn't a great sign.
Look at all these!
Fear the Walking Dead
The Walking Dead: World Beyond
Tales of the Walking Dead
The Walking Dead: Dead City
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
More Tales from the Walking Dead Universe

I forced myself through The Ones Who Live, much like the last few seasons of the show, because I wanted closure on the Rick storyline. (The show used to be about Rick, anyone remember that show? It was great.) Anyway, that was the most underwhelming reunion and ending imaginable.
I got through about 2/3 of the first Daryl episode before finally deciding to stab TWD in the head with a blunt object and put it out of its misery for good.

I nevr got around to trying some of the stuff from post S6-7 properly. With TWD the spin-offs feel just the TV equivalent of DLC, it's just 'content', nothing adds anything at all to the TWD world - it's all just aimless repetition until the audience finally moves on and they all get cancelled without a conclusion.
