I'd prefer it to have kept the original Japanese name - Zombie VS Stripper 5!

      Definitely ordering this one!

Would have been easier if they did...wouldnt have felt quite so odd telling the missus I have a new film on pre-order & having to tell her the title...the look I got was quite odd

        Also found this one...Robo Geisha

Not as fun looking as Zombies but it's more of the same

There are some crazy J-splatter movies out there. A few that I can recommend are:

          Tokyo Gore Police
          Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl
          Chanbara Beauty
Infection (although it could fall into regular J-horror as well)
Invitation Only (a Taiwan splatter movie with Maria Ozawa in it)

If you are looking for a mad title try:

Attack Girls Swim Team vs. The Undead

Not a particularly good movie that one, more soft porn than splatter with even lower production values than the others if that's possible. It's kind of hit and miss with these types of movies.

Does that mean there are 5 zombie fighting strippers in it? or is it the 5th film in a series where a Zombie fights a stripper?

Not that either plotline sounds anything but genius... just asking.

Called that because of the 5 strippers in it

If anyone is interested it's actually being shown in 3D as well

And if you'd like to see it in full 3D gory glory then it's getting a limited run at the Prince Charles Cinema in London

Tickets can be bought here if you fancy catching it...

Hope the DVD contains a 3D version

I tried to like The Machine Girl, but it has that form of over the top melodramatic acting that the japanese are known for and it drives me crazy whenever i see it.

So just wondering if you guys think i will like Tokyo Gore Police, i heard its crazier? Just hoping the acting is dialed down a bit.

I haven't seen Machine Girl but Tokyo Gore Police is a bit mad. The director has an obvious fascination with limbs that become weapons with lots of gore in the process. Most of his films follow a similar story, just with a different cast and characters. They all pretty much have the same style of acting. My personal fave is Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl.

Might be worth checking out Chanbara Beauty, it's a slighty more poised film with less gore, the acting is dialed down to a more acceptable level too.

I adore Machine Girl and found parts of it hysterical, but found TGP unwatchable. These OTT J-Splatter movies have worn really thin for me though. The only ones I really liked are Ichi the Killer (I guess that counts) and Story of Ricky.

I pre-ordered Big Tits Zombie from Amazon and got an email to say it had been dispatched last Monday but it still hasn't arrived which is very odd. Usually I get my orders within a few days and in some cases next day even without paying for it.

Looks like I may have to wait a bit for this one, it had better arrive before Halloween though.
