    Old monster film-animated/stop motion

I really need to find an old film I saw on tv late one night, I missed the start though.

It has all the classic monsters of old converging on an island for some reason, I think it's quite old-probably made in the 70s, it was done in a stop motion way like Wallace and Grommit etc etc.

I actually saw it for sale in HMV and thought I'd try to get it cheaper from Amazon or Play, but I can't remember the name. Aaarghh.

    Any help appreciated.

Was it that Godzilla film where they all have a big battle royal type fight?

Forget the title, Probabaly Godzilla vs Somthing or Other....

Destroy All Monsters, you mean, rmoxon?

It won't be that, as shinobi is after a stop motion effort.

That's it!!! Just youtubed the title and saw the trailer.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, really appreciate your help.

It was late one night when I nodded off downstairs with the tv on, woke up and this was on. I found it quite funny but I was, perhaps, not in the best state of mind.

                  Need to watch this.

How come tv has no good surprises anymore? Yonks ago Channel 4 and BBC2 would always have something to surprise you. I don't really watch tv anymore as it's all reality stuff or talents shows. Sorry, rant over and thank you Dogg Thang. And everyone else.

I haven't seen it in years but I remember it being hilarious. I must track it down and watch it again.

I love the character designs, they're brilliant and have a funny look to them.

There's actually doc about the making of the film on youtube, just seen the first bit but it looks quite good.

I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to monsters, I must say.

Um, is it Mothra? Does he make a noise, even? Someone else will know, I'm sure.
