So Netflix came to Canada near the end of 2010 and I finally finished signing up for it last week. Since then I have done nothing else practically than watch movies I've liked for a long time but don't have the DVDs here, or random stuff that I wasn't keen on paying to rent.
Sadly the first thing I watched was Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus. Which was utter sh*te. Oddly, Ninja Cheerleaders was 1000x better, while still crap. (they poledance too btw!)
Let's not even start on the TV and anime they have on there. 4 seasons of Farscape! 5 seasons of Angel! Aquarion! Vanguard! Darker than Black! Burst Angel! Devil May Cry! Even some of the TV stuff that's airing right now is going up a few weeks later.
All this for $7.99 a month.
As an Ubuntu user I can't watch any of it on my computer, so instead I have the Netflix channel installed on my Wii and stream it all that way. It looks fine on my 720p TV as well.
Once you start...Now I have to get back to watching Pitch Black.
