Cant find my camera but have picked up...
The Watchmen Directors Cut on Blu as it was ?6.95 on Zavvi.
And my first import (such a pain worrying about region codes after years of multiregion dvd action). 'The Life and Death of a Porno Gang'. Doubt we will see an uncut version here as its in the same vein as A Serbian Film.
Just about found 5 in the HMV sale too so picked up Source Code, Moon, Drive, Taken and (the awesome) Rubber!
On boring old DVD I grabbed The Green Wing Definitive set!

Just googled that Life & Death movie...Sounds...interesting
I was a little surprised A Serbian Film got a release let alone more of the same in this...you'd have thought after that they'd have maybe stopped this one.
I understand why films like this exist to push the boundaries but even I find these 2 a little hard to stomach (not seen either & doubt I ever will)
I've drawn the line at Fred Vogels August Underground Trilogy & Slaughtered Vomit Dolls.
I really have little interest in going further than those these days.
You will have to let me know what you think though...I'm always interested to hear thoughts

It's certainly not free but it is like iTunes. It's basically supposed to be an online library for your movies that you can view on different devices, download for offline viewing, etc. Seems like it's going to be supported by a lot of studios and stores. I dont watch too many "extreme" films nowadays, I did go through a phase a while back of buying every film the BBFC banned (which actually is only about 5 and the one I didnt get was due to blasphemy) or heavily cut for release but most of those films are terrible. Other than the dutch dvd of Ichi the Killer and R1 Grotesque it was a bit of a waste of cash. Never bothered with the Human Centipede films luckily.
But I really liked A Serbian Film, in the same vein as Irreversible for me. Definitely not date movies though
Might be a while before I review it for you tho as it definitely needs a happy state of mind, the way I feel at the mo is alot more suited to watching The Greenwing

I haven't sat down with an "Extreme Film" for a long time, the wife hates them so they just sit unwatched these days.
I did really enjoy collecting them & the hunt trying to find them was part of the fun.
Is the Dutch version of Ichi any different? I have the US release but didn't investigate any further than that as I was quite happy with that version.
The Human Centipede films just seemed too weird even for me so avoided them totally.
No worries about the review I'm in no rush
I have to be in the right mood for them when I watch them as well.
Anway a couple of new arrivals for me today...
Been after Appleseed for a while so was chuffed when I found it.

Bride of Frankenstein is one of the best films ever imo
@Soundwave - thinkthe Dutch Ichi is the same as the unrated US one but was cheaper on ebay at the time
