easily Game of Thrones. amazing show, cant wait for the next series.

Fringe continues to be great, but i've also really enjoyed Once upon a time. looking forward to them both continuing in the new year.

Another vote for This is England '88. I really failed to see much comedy beyond Woody overstepping his bounds with his boss and making startlingly inappropriate comments. The karaoke bits were slightly shoehorned in but obviously used to depict what Woody was missing. I also had a wry chuckle when he thought

that Lol was dead and started tearing up the hospital room.

My only complaint is that Shaun has been completely overshadowed by Lol and Woody, but he's ceased to be of any real interest anyway. It wouldn't be a huge shock if Turgoose wasn't present for TIE'90.

Respectfully disagree. Sure, it's fluffy escapism and I kept wishing that Ricci would get sucked out of the plane mid-flight but it was much more engaging than I expected it to be, and I'm sad to hear that it's pretty much cancelled. Plus, Colette.

        For me my favourites are:

        Homeland
        American horror story
        The big bang theory
        Fringe
        The walking dead
        Haven
        Person of interest
        Warehouse 13
        Up all night
        The office
        Alphas
        Southland
        Hell on wheels

Started a few and only watched one or two episodes because it was rubbish, most have now been cancelled anyway
        Pan am
        Unforgettable
        Hot in Cleveland
        2 broke girls
        Allen Gregory
        Charlie's angels
        Prime suspect us
        The protector

Not sure what list to put it in
        The borgias
Terra nova - looked awesome but quite boring
thundercats - expected better but whiskers
        The event

        Still to watch
Sons of anarchy - all 4 seasons
        Boardwalk empire - both seasons
        Blue bloods - both seasons
        Dexter - 6 seasons
        Californication - 5 seasons

It occurs to me that I have watched hardly anything this year. Shocking.
Only recently saw Black Mirror so will go with that just for the Prime Minister episode.

Game of Thrones is my favourite show of the year.

              Honourable mentions:

Fringe: Excellent actors and an interesting plot.

Person of Interest: A 21st century Equalizer

The Fades: I thought it was a bit 'Childrens BBC' at first, but then realised it's very good and distinctive.

Bored to Death: Unusual, very watchable show.

The Big Bang Theory: Always fun to watch, but the running time of 20minutes is too short.

Life's too short: Warwick Davis is a joy to watch, as he's a really good actor and his comic timing is spot on. Lots of people hate this show with a vengeance, but I love it. A second series will appear in early 2013.

It's a shame there weren't new series' of Peep Show & IT Crowd.
