LoveFilm streaming service

I have this on the Xbox360. It's cheap and you get what you pay for.

So this thread is for news of changes to it and for recommends of stuff that's worth watching.

My two suggestions for today are:
Angel-A, a Luc Besson film with subtitles.
Wombling Free, the 1978 wombles film for which I have the OST on vinyl. Nostalgia tastic. Worth watching so you can wet yourself laughing at Bonnie Langfords hair.

Netflix do and with 5.1 audio too** - I'm on both services, but I'm a complete Netflix convert.

Has anyone noticed that sometimes the stream comes through squashed and you have to go to "stretch" in the menu to get it to look right again? Wut?

Never had that but I think LoveFilm streaming service is crap now compared to NetFlix!

Certainly in terms of picture quality and interface usability. In terms of selection, Netflix is good for TV eps, but I think the film choice is dire on both.

Can't remember seeing that, but on Netflix some of their encodes are off on the lip-syncing - isn't that likely to be a similar thing, i.e., the encode itself rather than the stream.

It's like it's an anamorphic stream but the xbox doesn't know what to do with it.
Quite why the encodes should be different is beyond me.... There shouldn't even be an option for aspect in the software. The fact that there is suggests something is wrong.
