I guess they will just change 'Rent' and 'Buy' to 'Watch once' and 'Watch unlimited' or something like that. And then some additional provisos in the 9000 page Ts and Cs that the license can be revoked at any time, you have no recourse, etc etc.
It's a law that I would argue is in favour of the digital storefronts, rather than in favour of the user. It's effectively designed to quieten criticism of the impermanence of digital purchases while not actually making any meaningful change.
Now if the law instead said that it was illegal for 'purchased' licenses to ever be revoked, that might be more meaningful.
