According to Mendes, this will relate to Skyfall and return to London. Seems it will relate to Casino and Solace too, I'm assuming the previously mentioned secret organisation Quantum will turn out to be a smokescreen for Spectre.

Decent teaser. Just wish I hadn't watched through two fake trailers beforehand. Youtube should purge them all it's getting ****ing ridiculous.

I wonder how Mr White will fit into all this?

Did he say what I thought he said in the hurricane line?

"You're a kite dancing in a hurricane, Mr Bond". Interesting metaphor. Fighting an environment you can't control, but with something pinning you still to the ground?

Ah, kite makes sense. That's not what I thought he said.

It's interesting that they've gone back and reconnected the rebooted series so that all four film are a continuous storyline again, I thought that was done after Quantum. Presumably Quantum is Spectre and that aspect is addressed

Freshly installed Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman has spoken candidly to Variety this week about the battle over the distribution rights to the James Bond franchise. It turns out the studio’s deal to co-produce the films alongside MGM runs out after this November’s “Spectre,” and after that they’ll have to bid for the rights to […]

A Sony Chief has talked about how once Spectre releases the company will lose the distribution rights to the series and will have to rebid to keep them. You'd think that despite their recent issues, the box office of Skyfall would stand them in good stead but it seems Warners is lining themselves up nicely.

Could explain Sony's scrambling plans for Spiderman and Ghostbusters, shoring up the loss of such a big money spinner.

I do t care who has the rights as long as they keep the current style. All the Daniel Craig movies have been excellent. Not only because of him but because of the movies execution.

They are good but I feel Quantum of Solace was a misstep. For all it did right (interesting story, good performances, Olga Kurylenko) the editing of the action in that film was too frantic (Mark Forster and his team are to blame for those choices though).

Hopefully with Sam Mendes still in the director's chair SPECTRE will turn out quite alright though.

I completely agree with you, Paddy.

I thought the same thing when Yakumo said they were all "excellent". I remember being unimpressed with QoS, specifically the shakycam action. There's someone in the car boot, now somebody's falling off some scaffolding. Hmmm.
I mentioned the other day how the action in the Bourne sequels was shot awfully, so I was gutted when the Bond team hired the same action director.

Apart from the balancing beam sections, I really enjoyed blasting through the QoS game though!
