Excellent and unexpected news. I still watch my old DVDs of these now! Just hope it was good, the live shows went abit down hill with all the singing! Its a little sad as we prob not going seeing a updated version of the old Flat set

        Excellent ...

When you think about it the majority of the duo's stuff since the Young Ones are all based on the same idea anyway. Filthy Rich & Catflap was effectively a forerunner to Bottom, and both the characters in the Young Ones may as well be the same too, just grown up versions.

I must admit the live stuff went a bit silly towards the end, but the first live show is so funny, and I do occasionly dip back into it.

I have to say though I think they will both probably need to get on the treadmill before going back to Bottom action (oh er) as they are not exactly teenagers.

Best Bottom episode was the Ferris Wheel one ... brilliant stuff

Ahh Bottom, it was such fun. The violence was like a live action Tom & Jerry My favourite episode was probably Gas (the one with the gas inspector, shockingly enough).

The biggest grin appeared on my face when I read this last wk .

I cant wait for it! Bottom is my all time favourite comedy, & nothing has come close to it nor even attempted to copy its style. I used to watch it over & over religously every day up until my mid 20's & it still gets a watch at least once a wk even now.
And I always watch Bottom @Holy' on Xmas eve too .

I met Ade once in a Waterstones in Cardiff. Got him to sign my copy of Bottom 2 Live with the words: "To Bry. Dont forget to eat your 'flakes', Adrian Edmondson" .
Was gonna get him to write "Dont forget to drink your 'juice'", but there were a lot of snobby tw4ts in there that day looking down on me in disgust .

This year has been great - New Series of Red Dwarf just around the corner, went to see Jethro Tull live which was awesome, & now a new series of Bottom on the way
